The only thing that’s really changed since I’ve been there in about 15 years is that there’s a winery or a brewery every 10 feet. It feels a lot more built-up.

Beautiful areas... The wineries there are worth the time!! I also recommend going to the Watkins Glen area, especially during "SCCA, or NASCAR" weekends! Ithaca has the "Cool" Collage town vibe about it, and a very artsy area. I will be in Penn Yan week after next for visiting some customers.

I'm a bit like @Wonderer67 in that I prefer to travel off season when there are less people.

She likes cake. Coffee cake (esp the crumbly topping), and chocolate cake.

I may need to find my Coffee Cake recipe - it has the crumblies on top and swirled inside. It works great with apples, too.

Hmmm. Dehydration. I had a girlfriend that would put a cup over a spider and leave it. If it was large there would be a book or coffee cup on top of the cup. For fun I would take the spider outside and return the cup for her to find empty when she finally looked to see if it was dead.

I considered that option but it was at the drain so no flat surface, plus I had need of the sink.

I had all kinds of problems. But the oral surgeon said it was highly unusual. Google said the same thing.

I am afraid to get the implant part done now.

I feel fortunate I've always been able to save my teeth. I have mostly crowns now. Almost was talked into a root canal and toughed it out a few weeks and the pain went away. My theory was that if I had a root canal she was murdering my tooth. Plus my Milfy, scientist like Korean dentist did some amazing work on the crowns. Most were from previous dentists before resins had really been perfected. With a history of issues since I was a child I go quarterly for cleanings.
All that said I am no official on posts and implants. However, the space left by a removed tooth will be filled by neighboring teeth. All I have seen of that is not good. Costly and annoying to move the neighbors back where they belong to make room for the implant. I would have insisted on an imprint as to put the implant in as a replica. I should think waiting may be more painful than not. They don't give out the good drugs anymore.
Plus, I think you are one of those like me that does not eat to live, but live to eat.
