Why does America, why does Congress tolerate IT

She represents her constituents. They can elect someone else as they feel warranted.

Whether you like her or not, can certainly be relayed to your representativesfor further action.

Ole Jasmine "Ghetto Bitch" Crockett has been re-redistricted out of congress.

I for one will miss her comedic value.

G Santos was also elected

He was ousted
As I mentioned, you can relay your displeasure to your representatives to advance the same process as you need.

There's not enough political capital to accomplish that, imo.

Yes, the state government party in power has bypassed the will of the voters to suppress their votes.

I didn't say they couldn't vote moron.
Yes you did, that's what 'suppress' means, look it up. Or did your group find another perfectly good word you want to pervert.

Were the votes of the whites, Hispanics, and/or Asians in those districts "suppressed?"

Sure, sparky 👍

If you diminish the power of certain groups, they are, in effect, being suppressed.

Gerrymandering should be illegal.

What the fuck are you on about?

I'm discussing gerrymandering and how it suppresses votes and should be illegal. Hope this helps
Zero votes have been suppressed. Every citizen of the US has an elected representative.

You want to bring back segregation? Great, let's do it big. Let's round up every black citizen, even those who may only be octoroons, and move their asses to a single state, say Wyoming. Lots of land and they'll have all the representation they're entitled to and two senators to boot. Hell, they can even rename the place, maybe New Africa. It would be interesting to see how that state might prosper, what?

The is the ultimate result of playing tribalism, that is the end game.

Integrate or emigrate.

Your hatred for brown people makes you look ridiculous.

Lol, if you've been pushed into a district, by those in power, that is against your political views, without any geographical relevance, you have been suppressed.

What part of that is difficult for you to grasp?

Democrats have done this to Republicans too

I want to make gerrymandering illegal

Nope
Gerrymandering is literally tribalistic suppression

OK Sparky. Write us an outline of a law that would make gerrymandering illegal. Of course your first hurdle is to define "gerrymander" in unambiguous terms.

Your up, GO.

A party in power shall not create districts that are abnormally spread out in order to dilute party line voting. Each district shall represent a majority of the community makeup within 5 miles of the central point or a similar mileage based on the state district count.

👍

Also *you're

Gerrymandering should be illegal.

It really comes down to localities being able to select representatives based on their neighbors and surroundings rather than their parties.

I literally don't care how the language needs to be crafted.

It should never be drawn based on people who want to solidify future power.
