Is there literally no place for traditional cuckold stories on Lit?

I'm sick of the Loving Wives crowd going crazy every time someone writes a cuckold story. They always leave the same comments: the cuck isn’t a man, has no spine, or isn’t really masculine. Or they go further, saying the author is sick, twisted, or should be erased from the face of the earth. Often it’s that the wife should be thrown into Azkaban and the bull castrated.

But what if someone enjoys hardcore cuckold stories? What if they like the humiliation and degradation that come with their wife being taken by another man? Why do those stories have to be pushed out of the genre? As far as I understand, Loving Wives is the category most fitting for stories about women having sex with other men. It’s not fetish, not non-consent, not incest, not taboo.

As an author, I don’t really care about the negative comments under my stories. But as a reader, those kinds of extreme reactions scare off authors who might otherwise write that kind of content. And I’ve already noticed that it’s incredibly hard to find good cuckold stories on Literotica—and the reason is those commenters.

So, where should authors who like to write hardcore cuckold stories upload, for the audience that does exist and is looking forward to that kind of content.

Yes, in the Loving wives category. That's where they belong.

The problem is a large faction of unhinged woman hating incels hate those stories so they bomb them and leave hatefilled comments on them to try to drive those authors and stories away.

Then other LW authors will show up here and tell me-or anyone who agrees-I'm wrong about the category.

But go through the forum's pages and see how many threads have started discussing how awful that group of readers are and you'll see who is right.

If you have a thick skin keep reading there and authors need to keep writing there. These mouthbreathers should not be dictating what belongs where, only the site can do that and they have no issue with what gets placed there.

OMG! What a coincidence! I literally started this thread right after reading all the nasty comments under your story “Thanks for the Roses!” I know you wrote it as satire, but it’s honestly one of the best cuckold stories I’ve ever read. It was crushing to see such a great story not do well and receive so many negative comments. I also noticed that you don’t write many LW stories in general, and I figured that was probably the reason—those people just don’t appreciate them enough.

Going back to your reply, you’re right: we should keep writing and reading them, even if there’s backlash from that crowd, so the people who truly enjoy them still have something to read.

Some of the comments on that story are the funniest I've ever received. I knew going in that crowd wasn't capable of realizing the story was tongue in a cheek, but we should never hold back on a story being anything less than what we want it to be no matter what the results end up being.

I don't take those comments to heart. Those are sad weak little boys thinking they're men. But unfortunately, people do take this hate seriously and are upset by it. It's a category full of impotent bullies who are miserable in real life and need to make others miserable online where they can lash out with no consequence.

Fuck em, and keep writing and reading what you like. Because in the end? We own them, they don't own us.

Okay, here we go again with the reading impaired. (You're not the first to bring up the "hardcore cuckold" bullshit as "loving".)

Look at the category descriptions! And READ them.
=================
Loving Wives
Married extra-marital fun: swinging, sharing & more.
================

Where in that description do you find humiliating your spouse? And WHERE do you read the word "cuckold" is that description (other than in your own imagination? And who in their right mind thinks it's "fun" to conspire with a third party (lover) to inflict anything on someone they supposedly "love"?

If your story involves sexual slavery, maybe try:
===============
Reluctance/NonConsent
Fantasies of control.
===============

If it involves sadism and masochism, try posting to:
===============
BDSM
Bondage, D/s, and other power games.
===============

If your story predominantly focuses on racial differences, look to post in:
===============
Interracial Love
It's all black & white, and white & Asian, and...
===============

You are imposing your own narrow fetish in the LW category, you're just like so many others who go there posting their hateful comments because they believe that husbands and wives MUST be monogamous. Those judgmental types are there looking for stories of cheating spouses getting caught and burned.

The LW category should (as described) involve "extra-marital FUN, SWINGING, and SHARING, and those words tend to mean consensual situations by both the husband and wife, with both ENJOYING the experience, and NOT with one having to endure it.

(Note: And LC68, have you yet read my latest LW story? I haven't received any feedback from you on it.)

EDIT: But OP, if you really are "sick" of the loving wives crowd, are you a masochist by continuing to go to that category to read those comments?

Has it ever occured to you that the word "Loving" is typed with a smirk? Not meant to be taken literally, or do you think LW is supposed to be a romance category full of virtuous women and their heroic men.

Some categories have strict content. Incest for example, family fucking goes there. if there is none you find another category. Non con, GM, Non human, lot of 'straight up' categories.

But others are varied because there are so many different sub genres within the genre. Fetish is one, Loving wives another.

Hardcore cuckhold is fine there. Maybe not fine to you, but fine by the category.

This is fiction so the whining and crying over "loving" wives is beyond tiresome.

Funny that I never see anyone complaining about the thousands of stories here where women are raped, abused, degraded, humiliated and in BTB stories at times flat out tortured.

Where your outrage for that? No, you whine about men being humiliated because Oh, no!

Keep your overwhelming CMI driven opinions as just that and not act like its law here.

You don't tell people what belongs where.

I'm going to write a cuckold story and put it in the Loving Wives category now.

EXACTLY!!!!

BTB stories where the cheating spouses are raped or tortured are NOT "loving" stories!

You equate my writing to the LW category as if I approve and defend those abusive stories. I do NOT!

I defend the "Extra-marital FUN, SWINGING, and SHARING" stories!

There are stories about people who want to be beaten, mutilated, and humiliated. Those people are "masochists", and such stories rightfully belong in BDSM.

But if you are "sick" (as the OP described) of the responses in a category, then it's like going to a doctor to complain about hitting your hand with a hammer.
Patient: "Doc, every time I hit my hand with a hammer it hurts!"
Doctor: "Then don't do that!"

When someone comes to the AH complaining about responses to their stories in the LW category, I merely point out WHY they are getting those responses. There are two factions in the LW audience: Those "monogamous-only", judgmental types who look for stories of married couples with a cheating spouse, ... and those looking for stories of fun-loving swingers. It's just that the monogamous-only ones are very vocal about their belief that there should be no extra-marital sex.

I write to the LW category, tweaking my stories in ways to show those judgmental types that there are other reasons for the extra-marital sex, and that those people have a valid reason to do so. Again, look at my latest to see how I tried doing that.

It seems like the Fetish category should be an alternative for cuckold stories.
It depends on someone's/anyone's/everyone's definition of "cuckold". And there seems to be a huge variety of deviating opinions on that definition, with everyone insisting that they are the ultimate definer!

LW is supposed to be about "extra-marital fun, swinging, sharing, and more." So, when someone comes here throwing out the term "cuckold", of course they are the expert on the definition that it falls into the LW category, and that audience is wrong.

I suggest authors look at the prevailing themes within their story and try a more objective look at whether the couple is truly "loving" or is one more abusive or indifferent of the other. Are you throwing in bondage situations or forcing the spouse in any way to endure something? Are you constantly reiterating racial differences between lovers? And are you writing a story as just a scene in a marriage, without any character development to give context to underlying desires for anything other than monogamous sex?

If the story is just an out-of-context scene intended to provoke the audience, then take the criticisms as the choice you made.

Its a good option, especially if you don't want to get attacked by incels and self-important-but obviously impotent-men.

The fetish crowd is where actual men who are secure in the sexuality and kinks dwell which is why the scoring and comments are generally decent,

But it goes back to my point that its a shame some people are going there because they fear the losers in LW. If I could have one thing changed on this site it would be for them to clean up that cesspool and delete all the mindless hate spewing comments there as well as the BTB stories, many of which break the rules here.

The issue that the faction of dregs has with me over there is my particular take on the cuck genre.

I've always equated it with a form of submission a marital form of BDSM in a sense and humiliation is a big part of my style. If one reads the story through and doesn't start squealing, you'll see some signs the husband is into it, but often has a conflicted type of love hate with his own kinks and acceptance of what his wife does and that deep down it turns him on.

In the selling market my stories do fine and some people do very well. It also goes over well on visual porn sites in all forms even hardcore humiliation.

Only here is it annihilated because only here can people read for free and comment as anon with no chance of repercussions for their hate.

LW is a magnet for incels and losers for that reason.

This is why I believe their should be a second tier of category. Tags are great, but their so random they don't often mean anything, especially when the system assigns them.

The belief that one is "successful" because a handful of people paid them for a story they've written ignores the fact that those who pay for a story are a subset of the general population. Even those who post in a free site like this and aim their stories at focused subsets of readers with particular fetishes, bask in their list of Red-Hs and ignore the fact that there are many others who wouldn't like their stories and would 1-bomb them if they bothered to explore those other categories.

Do any of those "successful" stories really appeal to the majority of the population? And how many of the over 8 billion people on this planet really find those stories entertaining?

With the amount of bigotry, hatred, and judgmental terms we read thrown out in public forums, I find the general population to be far more diverse. So, I write what I want to write, and I post to LW for that larger, general audience of lovers ... and haters. I even keep the disparaging comments, as their right to say what they want to say.

You can HATE me for saying and writing what I want., even here in the forums, because I believe that even the haters have the right to say what they want.

We can always agree to disagree.

EDIT: Loving Wives is a magnet ... for those looking for marriages which involve extra-marital sex. It was supposed to be for FUN. But the cheaters and cheater-haters are also there to stir the pot.

So, where should authors who like to write hardcore cuckold stories upload, for the audience that does exist and is looking forward to that kind of content.
Anywhere else. Find the next common denominator, does she like to show off and be watched? E/V? Group? Erotic Encounters? Are they older ... Mature? Does she like to restrain him? BDSM?

There is actually quite a lot of cuck stuff in transgender where the spouse is also force feminized, and frequently served up to a BBC. Not my cup of tea, but it is there.

What is an example of the system assigning tags? I’m only aware of it being a totally manual function which the author performs.

My story The Emasculation of Henry Smith is an example. I never added tags but it has them: wife, marriage, drama, erotic, femdom, toys.
The story is about a divorced man with a classically narcissistic ex who conspires to have him fed hormones and feminized over time. Sure there's some drama, and it's erotic, but that's about it.

The MC does eventually get married, but not in the scope of the story. It ends with her girlfriend saying yes. There's no femdom and no toys either. i don't know who added the tags, but I don't think they read the story to do so. Probably automated or something.
