Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

Hence my Red Ryder quip/jab. I have mentioned before, we say we bought a S&W model 27, or a Winchester model 70 in .30-'06, for example. They say "a gun" which means about nothing.
The part that gun-obsessed ammosexuals don't get is that normal people don't have a fetish with collecting an armory, bragging about each purchase, equating those purchases as a measure of their "manhood", and characterizing their perceived enemies as "pussies".

It's just a basic tool, for Christ sake. Grow up.

3 minutes for my last pistol purchase. And the smarmy gun shop owner tried to tell me how to answer the questions on the form.

A total joke.
Sounds like you need to find an actual gun shop. Smarmy? You as the purchaser should not buy a gun from someone you cannot trust. Or are you a convicted felon and believe you still have the right to bear arms in this country?

Meanwhile, the charming city of Baltimore is cowering in fear that the arrival of soldiers will clog the court system. That would be heartbreaking, I'm sure.

This was a FFL dealer in the nearest city. Cheaper-Than-Dirt shipped to my closest gun shop from Texas.

Regarding your stupid question about whether I'm a convicted felon, I wouldn't have passed the ridiculously simple screening process if I were a convicted felon. In effect, that's all they screened me for.

I took the time to be in DC this week. The 5th page of the US Constitution is out for viewing these 2 weeks.
The city is not only clean, there no place I did not feel comfortable.
In L'Enfant I did stop in the station to talk to three of the NG. They were happy to be there and enjoying themselves at this point. I did not ask them, but what happens when they leave? Will the riffraff come back? The drug bums and encampments return? In the late 90's 2000's traveling Europe I was always shocked at the artillery the police in airports carried. Why so military looking? Am I in danger? On the streets I wondered where they were thinking I would feel safer.
In DC I had none of those feelings or thoughts. Their presence was American. In no way like a show of force or prison warden. It is sad they need to be there. But to be free in the Capitol city again was an awesome feeling. I will be back soon. I hope never to have to work there again. The 3 to 5 hour 50 mile round trip is costly and unpredictable. The WMATA trains are unpredictable and traffic is super slow.

Did you play "count the troops"?

That's always a fun one in militarized countries.

I'm sure the overworked prison wardens are enjoying the extra prisoners who have beenoved there to hide

Oh wait....I was wrong..
..they were moved to Virginia's streets

None here in Virginia that I see. Fairfax Arlington Alexandria Prince William and Loudoun are sanctuary. Plenty of illegals. In the pricey hoods where the rich libs live you don't see much. However, get into the sprawl and no one is speaking English. The majority are Hispanic. The muslim / islamic population is increasing so much that they seem to be outnumbering Hispanic. None of them speak English either, which makes them look so much like illegals it is easy to perceive them that way. Even though it is so liberal here, it used to be a great place to live. Now the libs don't speak to anyone except to preach. A divisive judging silence has taken over.
No I did not play count the troops in the airports. I got used to them being there. Like I said not present in the countries. When Hungarian Border Patrol boarded the train the first time I crossed that border, that was unnerving. I felt like their guns were pointed at us. In country, not even cops. Several idiots got pick pocketed. It was common. Kept us on our toes.
The NG in DC is not overworked. They were just like me. We had conversation just like any American would.

Yeah, fuckin' troops on the streets of our major cities. Reminds me of my time spent doing design-build projects in Mexico and the Middle East.

I suppose it's handy for the Pig to get dopes like you used to that prior to his next moves during the 2026 election cycle.

Probably not parked in your neighborhood.

I can understand foreign people upset you.

Talking to all the troops in the militarized zones, I'm sure, is comforting.

All those foreigners probably plotting against you and shit.

DC is no way a militarized zone.
Now there is not a gauntlet of drug addled bums begging for money on every street. You can walk down the street or in the stations and not have to breathe synthetic pot smoke. I did not see anyone I thought I needed to keep an eye on or distance from. I worked in DC 12 years. I never saw the city look and feel safe ever, until now.
You have no idea what you are talking about. At least not in US cities.
I wish he would send them to Philly next. I'd love to go back and hang out in Philly again. Before I left, going down Pattison Avenue for Baseball Hockey Football or a concert was like taking your life in your hands. The city was a no go zone. Cleaning up Philly and allowing it to enjoy tourists again would provide badly needed revenue for the locals. So many good food establishments unique to Philly are gone now. Never to return. I wonder if they cleaned up south street if the merchants would return?

Here in VA 'those foreigners' are not plotting. They are probably doing the best that they can do. Problem is they don't pay taxes and are using subsidies and more, health insurance housing assistance...
The arab one's are just rude. Where they come from everyone is not equal. So they act as if you are in their way. And jesus they must just give away drivers license. None of them drove a car before they got here. No concept. Most of them seem to be uber drivers too.
The main concentration of foreign born citizens where I live are Asian. Korean or Chinese for the most part. More friendly than most of the white and black American's that live here.
Not sure where you are. Is everyone callus and bitter like you there where you live? The way you describe it as militarized, crime has taken over. You may need troops.

Yes it is. It literally has the national guard on street corners.

You want more militarized cities. I get it.

I thought you were one of those who believes that guns are weapons of war only meant to kill people.

It's beginning to sound like you're more interested in spewing the narrative than following it.

I foresee judges in Baltimore working overtime rubber stamping all those felony dismissals.

So is this an admission that you only have ONE gun? And it's a pistol?

Are you fucking kidding me??? Don't they have clerks-n-shit for that???

Tools. Yeah, Wat has tools. Tools that are:

Milwaukee
DeWalt
Snap-On
Craftsman
Stanley
Kobalt
Stihl
Husky
Werner
Metabo
Porter-Cable
Hitachi

You know, Wat knows who made it and what it is. They ain't just "tools."

How adultlike is that???? Pussies!!!

Jesus hates a pussy.

The compact 9mm pistol replaces an old revolver that was too bulky to carry when my gf and I are out in areas where we might be vulnerable. So far I have never had to use it as defense against humans or other animals. The revolver now stays locked in my bedroom. The nearest police presence to my place is 8 miles on the reservation.

I've kept an old .22 farm rifle for the past 35 years. Only had to use it once to shoot a rabid skunk I had caught in a packrat live trap. There is plenty of poultry where I live, and I have not been into hunting since I was a kid.

I have a shop. I do not own many duplicates of my basic farm, construction, and mechanic's tools. Same goes for guns.

None of my neighbors fetishize their guns, and only a few ever mention guns in the context of political discussions, unlike "wat" takes place regularly on this thread

As for your prior snide remark about me not walking my talk, there is nothing inconsistent about my posts and my long-time personal ownership of guns. If you think otherwise, either cite the inconsistency or shut up.

Once again you sound hysterically defensive and over-sensitive about your adolescent view of masculinity.

Spend a little more time with grownups and a little less time posting memes.

Don't see the backhoe on the list there.
