It's 50 years old. Lorne Michaels is 80. NBC could try replacing him again, but the show may be at the end of its run. MadTV and other sketch comedy shows are long gone.So what’s SNL going to do?
Freedom of speech seems to be disappearing.

You keep on ducky wannabe. Constantly carry the narrative that will fail.Pull up some of the FCC chair's remarks about taking action to cancel the show. You have not been paying attention. It was not about subscribers; it was one man in the White House who objected to being belittled on TV that caused this. That narcissistic man's pettiness. It was one man trampling businessmen, afraid they would lose dollars if they didn't appease him. Vanity of vanities at work is what it is.
You sound bitter. You keep on ducky wannabe. Constantly carry the narrative that will fail.
It wasn't FCC more than asking if they wanted to deal with it or experience a slow death. The prick said what he said. He is supposed to be a comedian and did not laugh when it was supposed to be funny. Because it wasn't funny. He stated it with malice. Fuck him.
Looks like ABC silenced Whopie and beyhar so they didn't lose their show either. But it is coming. Their ratings suck. This is an easy way out for them.
Isn't it great that you can still express an opposing opinion here without being threatened with a lawsuit? You keep on ducky wannabe. Constantly carry the narrative that will fail.

You should go back and and read the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. I did, today. So what’s SNL going to do?

Who is pissed off?Listened to the actual comments made by Kimmel and it's laughable that people were so pissed off.
I'm not losing any sleep over it as I continue to not watch late night.
It's interesting that actors and comedians piss MAGA fucks off so much.
I haven't said anything that would bring a lawsuit.Isn't it great that you can still express an opposing opinion here without being threatened with a lawsuit?
George Orwell's 1984 just turned the corner and ran head-on into the felon's thin-skinned inability to accept comedy. Where do we go from here? Sad times in America.
Nothing to see here that’s Fox News they can do nothing wrongWhat did he say that warranted threats from the FCC?
Was it worse than this...
At Kimmel? Lol...the OP for starters.Who is pissed off?
Exactly. He did not violate FCC code. He did not represent the viewers and the broadcaster called him on it. ABC agreed and ripped the stupid prick off the air. See how that free speech works? Stupid prick.which ftc code did he violate?
MadTV should make a comeback. But those comedians are all old too. The new ones today aren't funny. It's 50 years old. Lorne Michaels is 80. NBC could try replacing him again, but the show may be at the end of its run. MadTV and other sketch comedy shows are long gone.
You also need to go back and read the First Amendment. You and many others are referencing it and this has nothing to do with the First Amendment. You sound bitter.
I regard that as a positive.
Your hatred of the United States Constitution's First Amendment guarantees of free speech are noted.
You're on the list now, bubba.
we're talking about the "ftc", stupid prick.Exactly. He did not violate FCC code. He did not represent the viewers and the broadcaster called him on it. ABC agreed and ripped the stupid prick off the air. See how that free speech works? Stupid prick.
Kimmel this not violate FTC code either.we're talking about the "ftc", stupid prick.
Yes, a merger that requires changing of FTC code is in the works, meaning they need dear leader's sign off.Kimmel this not violate FTC code either.
At best he got ABC's attention as the broadcaster that owns many of their OTA license is in process of getting approval to purchase many more stations rights. Even then that is a stretch. However, it does put Nexstar from 10% to nearly 80% of US household's reached. ~220million households. Pretty amazing that many people do not have cable?
look @ this hypocritical crapola!

the garbage above said that we should euthanize poor people last week, on fox news. The asshole leftists who say the most disgusting things that any real human would abhor do not deserve the recognition of a direct response.
