The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Today was a great day on the trail and on the road. Started off realm nice.

Then we made our way to the east side of the Grand Canyon of PA. I’ve always wanted to go there, so a semi bucket list.

Then we went to the west side of the canyon. Gorgeous!

We stumbled upon a cool museum. The Pennsylvania lumber museum. The museum was cool but they had a real working sawmill and outside stuff too.

Then we just drove thru the Allegheny National forest to Kinzua viaduct. It was a huge railroad trestle that got hit by a tornado and they made it into a a tourist attraction. Pretty impressive!

Gorgeous pictures, W! Thanks for taking us along with you! 😘

Hump day is over and the slide to the weekend has begun!

I had a productive day. I've decided on one more project for the house. It's just a little one. I have wanted more cabinets for years so I'm having some custom cabinets made to match what I already have. Today I met with the vendor I am probably going to choose for it. Their operation was impressive!

Tonight I was talking with a good friend, telling him all about my day. He said conversations with me were like whack-a-mole. 🙄😖🤣

I might be all over the place when I am excited about something. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have a terrific Thursday, everyone! It's Friday eve! 💖✨💝

Getting over an horrendous day yesterday. Walking in the forest with my family and my daughter’s dog got attacked by two alsatians that tried to kill it. He is a miniature dachshund so didn’t stand a chance. Got him to the vet and abdominal tearing but fortunately no organ or bone damage.

Waiting on the police getting back to me but guessing it’s not top of their list of priorities!

Daughter is traumatised and distraught. Fortunately her dog seems to be recovering, eating and drinking so fingers crossed!

May her dog heal quickly.

That is rough. That is a memory that will remain. It sounds like you were able to seperate them which can be dangerous. My niece who is a cop had to shoot a dog one time to stop it from attacking. Wishing the little guy a speedy recovery.

Upon completion, it was the world's highest and longest railroad bridge, standing 301 feet tall and 2,052 feet long. I looked it up so I thought I would share!

That's some mighty impressive scenery-n-such you have there. As I said yesterday, I enjoyed my trip up that way in furtherance of anvil salvage.

Best wishes to your daughter.

Kinda sadly, it's dogs doing dog stuff. The landlady got a new horse once (my buddy), and he fatally injured her favorite horse in pursuit of being the alpha. They're critters, there's a pecking order, and it makes sense to them.

Sorry to hear about that Grey. Hopefully the pup has a speedy recovery. Glad you were able to get to him before they could do too much damage.

We lost a cat like that to a neighbors 40lb bull terrier. He always chased the cat and he was always able to get away. We think he ambushed him while he was sleeping, as they were under the car fighting. I couldn’t get under it to separate them and the cat had been shook too much. I blame myself partly because he was an indoor kitty, then indoor/outdoor. We had had the conversation about moving him back in full time. He just loved being out in the garden with me, so I didn’t…
