I am not sure where you are right now but if you get a chance go to Worlds End State Park which is south of you and Forksville. Family had a hunting cabin up that way. It has been a long time.

We went thru forksville yesterday! Beautiful country.

Don’t we all have places we wished to move to? I used to want to move to Colorado at the foothills of the Rockies. It never happened but I vacationed many times in my 20s and 30s.

I like Western PA, every time I drive through the Laurel mountains, my heart sings.

I dreamed of hiking Glacier National Park and did it after my wife passed. I wanted to do it before I got too old. I am glad I did. I could not hike it today. My advice: do it sooner than later. You will never regret it.

Easiest stuff first. Check the gas cap. Make sure the seal is clean and the cap is tight. Wait a bit to see if it clears.

I'm going to check them out. I have new wiper blades that need to be put on but I don't know how to do it.

Years ago I had to drive 3 counties away for a work training. On the way, it started to rain and one of my wipers came partially detached. Was still hanging on the arm, but wasn't doing diddly for clearing the windshield. I was early for the training and someone there mentioned an O'Reilly's store not too far away.

When I got there, they were open but not too busy. The employee came out, in the now pouring rain to take a look. Thankfully it just needed to be attached properly, not replaced. He took the time to show me how to attach it and didn't charge me anything!!

I've been a huge fan ever since!

There's an AutoZone near my house. When I blew a headlight and my mechanic couldn't get me on the schedule for a few weeks, I stopped there and asked. They looked up the bulb I needed, walked me to the shelf, helped me decide which one to get... then he installed it for me. No charge for anything but the bulbs. No labor charge at all! I got both headlights replaced for the same cost as what a single replacement would cost at the mechanic's.

Will I maybe need to wait a few minutes if they're busy? Yes, but worth it IMO!

It is my mom amd dads. I hate it. They have my car. Easier to get in and out of while dad is sick

Totally understand. After my first knee replacement, I replaced my car w/ a small SUV that sat higher up. Far easier than my sedan that sat @ 4 inches off the ground. IYKYK

I also want to go to Antarctica. It's the reason I started training. I have read there are smaller research vessels that take passengers. They can choose to participate or not in the research. Smaller vessels can land passengers while the large cruise ships cannot. I've been trying to talk my niece, a marine biologist, to go with me. So far, not having any luck. I'd like to go before I get too old.

I eat very little of it. I mostly give it away. Trainer's fiance gets quite a lot. I always have something in the freezer.

I give away most of my baking, too. I don't have much of a sweet tooth. Most of my sweet recipes have at least one ingredient I need to avoid nowadays. I'm low on receivers these days though.

Weasel workday went adequately. We did have the skeeviest unit to date to work in, but we managed to git-er-dun, so there's that. No one protested being there. Except for maybe one pussy, but I didn't hear the comment so it may not have happened.


If I can keep on the pace I'm going, I may be able to pass the complex I left to come to this one. I kinda have a dog in that fight, so I'm focused. And it's not like I have mo' gooderer weasels - we have the same weasels.
