Anonymous Comments

I am approaching the alleged 100 comment line to be able to bypass moderation.
I recently posted my 100th comment but I've been able to post immediately ever since I really earnestly started to leave more comments on other authors' stories. As with most things to do with Literotica, it's a mystery how that works.

Hope you get your insta-post wings soon! You leave nice comments. ☺️

I am approaching the alleged 100 comment line to be able to bypass moderation. That will be appreciated, especially with the longer delays recently.
And here I was thinking it would happen when Laurel gets tired of seeing my name on the list for comments to be moderated.

@iwatchus, Please don't be sad for me, I'm knocking on 250 followers right now. That's 50+ since Feb.
You have enough catalog to keep getting followers. I seemed to have passed that threshold sometime late summer.

I'm sad because you could still be contributing to the community in that way. And I suspect you still have stories to tell.

It also struck me, because you stopped a few weeks before I started publishing. It's an absurd thought, but I almost feel like I am stealing your publishing or something.

I have found that anonymous comments fall into categories, at least on what I have published. Either it's a coward complaining that the piece didn't go where they wanted it to go (e.g. stroke/sticky fingers) or I had a positive comment from a neurodivergent person. I'm sure they wanted their anonymity.

I think a lot of the anonymous comments are people who did not create an account on the site. With all the data leaks, many people would rather not have their email address associated with a porn site or porn adjacent like this. I was an unregistered reader for over a decade before creating an account. That was only when I first thought about writing here. I don't think the site gives enough indications of what you can do as a registered reader to people who aren't. At least a decade ago, they would simple hide any controls for features that were member only (like lists and favorites).

Why neruodivergent? I'm autistic and I have an account. :p

I have no idea why they left an anonymous comment.
Did they tell you they were neurodivergent in the comment or are you guessing that?

And I really believe that most anonymous comments are from unregistered users, not for any nefarious reason.

Well, plenty of my published work is nearing its end of life on Amazon, so I'll be putting up work here again soonish.

Would being neurodivergent be a nefarious reason?
Not at all what I meant. Many authors here seem to treat anonymous comments as secretive attacks. I was surprised that the posted seemed to be saying she assumed one of them was neurodivergent because they left an anonymous message.

My apologies for being ambiguous with what I said.

I am neurodivergent and always hated the way I think. Thank you for showing me my thinking process is beautiful

The ambiguousness might have also been in my mind... just saying.

It's easy to see why you thought it was left by a neurodivergent person. I think some of my commenters might also be, but they don't tell me so.

February, I haven't published anything on here since February. And that's a long time, at this site, to be still gaining new followers and not losing those who are tired of the wait.
Depending on what date system you use, that's only a 5 or 7 month gap: the year is current!
