I googled that, there was only Aaron Danielson, who deliberately drove his truck into a crowd and Found Out. The guy who was accused of the killing, Michael Reinoehl claimed it was 'self defense', much like Kyle Rittenhouse who was in danger from a nasty looking skateboard. That didn't save Michael Reinoehl from being murdered by people who had sworn to uphold the Constitution.

You're likely a classical liberal whose core political philosophy emphasizes individual freedom, limited government, and free markets. A classical liberal typically advocates for civil liberties and economic freedom while opposing excessive government intervention in personal and economic matters.

Which is where I stand for the most part.

I lean heavily in favor of law and order with accountability for everyone including law enforcement.

I oppose government subsidies across the board.

I want a flat tax with no deductions for everyone. Everyone pays the same even if they can afford a legion of tax lawyers.

I oppose property taxes as they make a joke out of property rights.

I want term limits not just for politicians but for government employees too. Ten years in government service and no more. My single exception would be for the military and then anyone who serves more than ten years is prohibited from civilian government employment. Everyone needs to have a real job at some point.

No more government pensions for anyone. 401K style programs, sure. But no more pensions.

No more civil asset forfeiture. Period.

I'm the best of both political worlds, though some here would snarkily disagree.

I'm a conservative because I believe in the rule of law. ALL the law, not just the bits I agree with. This includes abortion, guns, free speech and many other things which have been discussed here. If it's legal, I'm good with it. If illegal, get ready for some brutal commentary that's gonna leave a mark.

I'm a liberal because I believe that people ought to be able to do whatever they wish as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. I'm also anti-authority and I have a serious problem with people who think that their authority somehow conveys unlimited power.

Neither of those things make me middle of the road. No, I'm an extremist. I believe those things are immutable and anyone who disagrees is just flat wrong because they're putting something other than the law and people first. There is no middle ground.

The coolest bit is that most people are exactly the same way. We know wrong when we run into it. And we can tell when we're being gaslighted by those who are trying to play us.
