The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Relatively well. She is plugging away at pt and ot. It’s hard to get her to rest like she’s supposed to though.
She is scared being without my dad.
We were able to leave her home alone for about an hour yesterday without any falls or catastrophes, so things are slowly improving.
I have no idea what will happen in the future and we are still waiting for my dad’s death certificate.
We all miss him, it’s hard.
I'm so sorry, sweetie! I understand your mom's fear. 🫂🫂

My DMs are open if you want to talk..

Your thread is filled with so wholesome comments.
You're new here. Welcome.

We run this thread a little differently.

Read the first post...goes over the "rules" so to speak.

I will summarize:
1. No religion
2. No politics
3. No drama
4. No hitting on the women-- dm the person if interested.... if they don't respond.... there is your answer.

I will add
5. For God sake read a profile before you dm the wrong person.
6. If your first post is heavy on the innuendo ..... you need to slow your roll

This thread is like the bar cheers or the corner coffee shop. We are FRIENDS here and not like other threads...we are fiercely protective of the vibe and each other. If this sounds like a place you would like, stick around.... if not there are eleventy billion other threads that will suit your needs.

To get an idea of the vibe I would scroll through the last 10 pages or so and you will see.

Good morning fellow denizens of the diner.

Yesterday was productive with a friends walk and then lunch. One of my friends from the cancer support group days is struggling with the sale of house and her teenage son. I am a good listener.

My sister is doing well considering her husband is on dialysis and her son has a serious skin cancer.

The day ended with big Detroit Lions win.

It’s a warm afternoon ahead again.

Take care and be safe.
You have a lot of people leaning on you, B2! You're a wonderful friend, brother, BIL, and uncle. 🫂💜🫂

I sir am part of the Knee-Deep Navy! If it’s deeper than 5’…

Not to change the subject…as I could talk small boats all day long, but has anyone ever oiled a grandfather clock?

I went to the Oracle of all Knowledge (UToob) and saw how the pros do it…but, really? A Pin tip of oil? You have to put more than that in…
I would start with the recommendation and go from there. If the clock works with a pin tip, that's all you need. You can always add more. It's hard to take it away.
