The Art of Getting Lit Laid

Life gets tough sometimes. Work, pressure, chaos - it can knock you flat on your back. But here’s the thing: getting knocked out isn’t the end. The magic happens when you stand up, dust yourself off, and flip the switch.

Beast mode ON. 🔥

And of all people, it was my Lit friends here who held my hand and cheered me on. Because once you rise and fight back, the hits turn into fuel. And damn, it feels good to roar again. I’m back!

Thanks for holding down the fort while I was off licking my wounds. But seriously - I was only gone for a few days, and you talked about clowns?? Really?? I said take care of the thread, not scare people! 😂

Another input inspired by our co-founder, with accompanying artwork:

The Staff and the Cavern

https://ibb.co/3yvXQP7f

The sorcerer’s staff, long, hard and fast
Weaves tangled fire in musky-scented air;
The witch’s dark gaze absorbs the blast
Her smirk, a challenge to enter her lair

They pass, night upon night
With dreams and passions dark to amaze
In the twilight world of phantom light
Seeking lost souls to set ablaze

Tales of lust and temptation
Are their foremost guile.
Her voice a smoke-filled murmur of desire,
His, a growl of wolverine command the while.

Each seeks to outdo the other,
But in secret, craves union to fulfil
Until at last they tangle freely
All their fleshly art and skill.

The flames grow ever greater
Their senses touch pending ruin, fear and joy;
Then at long last in feigned surrender
She makes her final ploy

In her deepest, darkest cavern
She quells his fire with floods of precious balm.
His staff at long last is vanquished
And lies in sated calm.

But both know, the same will make him strong again,
Their nightly combat to renew;
And strive to the same end
For all their eternity, sans adieu.
This is wonderful, thank you @jacfox !

Getting lit laid isn't as easy as it seems....
Maybe it's me, but I was kinda doin it myself this week....
I am so sorry to hear that…. Perhaps you should enroll for my new course…. It demonstrates the need to look after yourself before you can care for others… I include lots of practical, hands on, tutorials. Then you wil find others flocking to your door for help, or in the case of an English gentleman simply knocking politely!
