Took the rest of the week off

Woke up to knocking at my door.

My hot water heater safety valve was tripped and water was pouring out .... my neighbor checked it and reset it....

What fucking else

It's starting to feel more like fall than I want to believe. Trees are starting to turn red, orange, and yellow already. Not a significant amount of color yet, but enough to foreshadow what's on the way... (I'll give you a hint. It's a four letter S word...)

Took a quick walk to the orchard during lunch time. These apples are getting closer to being ready, but not there yet. Maybe a few more weeks, and a good frost would help a bunch too.


However a tree on the opposite corner is almost ready. So I snagged some lunch.


Fresh fruit right off the tree is something that has be be experienced. Flavor is so good. This one is just touch tart yet.
These apples are ready to fall, so probably clean this tree off during the weekend.

You are definitely more susceptible to illness when you are run down.

Some of my worst was when I was not fully recovered. In high school I had walking pneumonia, which turned into pneumonia, I was out for three weeks straight. Then I was back in school for a week and then I came down with mono.

Out two more weeks…

We met a couple who was “off kilter” at a nudist resort in California a few years ago.

They were both just really into their Scottish roots. They was wearing a kilt because they were leaving the resort and going out to dinner.

When they returned, they simply took off their kilts!

Hence, the term off kilter!

This will be covered by your homeowners if it did.

And if you have an equipment breakdown endorsement, it may even pay for any new equipment that needs to be replaced.

There is nothing like fresh apples! Our apple trees are a bit overgrown and we’ve stopped cutting them back and thinning them. We still get some good fresh apples - there is nothing like that taste!

I was blessed to be on a 28/28 rotation during his last 6 months and even before that, I spent LOTS of time with him.
Before he passed, he told me that "He was happy and satisfied with his life and that he wouldn't change any of it."... and I could tell that he meant it.
There's NO better way to leave this plane than that IMHO.
