This should be a point of deescalation. We should all reject the political violence and aim to make sure to condemn any mention of further violence.

The left still haven't grasped the switch versus dial concept yet.

For the left, political violence is a dial, which can be dialed up and dialed down to suit. For the right it's a switch. The right won't act until it knows it knows there is no other way, that public sentiment is on its side, that something can be accomplished by targeted violence against the left and then the switch will be irrevocably flipped and it won't stop until things are settled the way the right wants them settled.

I suspect we've just seen the switch flipped mentally in a lot of people's minds, altho it may take a while befoe anything happens.

You're right tho - it's not a good direction, I hope it doesn't go there, but it's the left that is going to have to radically de-escalate - and based on Democrat politicians, the Mass Media and leftist users on social media, that ain't happening. When that switch flips, it'll be way to late to dial it back.......
