I'm in the midst of writing my current WIP and I had a thought on possible dialog between females in the story and was thinking that one of the women would be bragging about it to the other woman. Is this plausible, or should I look for another way to convey the making of sexual memories between women?

Maybe in a similar context as calling a man a baby daddy.

You'd better include a hot tub and a bug-free bedroom: cabin and romantic is an oxymoron to most. But to your point, I think I'd be set off by an environment or emotional memory rather than a visual trigger. Visual is more a male-typical spanky-wanky-banky thing. Maybe the pine of the cabin has a scent of eucalyptus, which reminds her of a romantic holiday to Thailand?
