I have found that I generally do my best writing at night. It's quieter. When do you normally write your best stuff?

Whenever I have a spare moment during the day. Lunchtime often. Standing in line at the grocery store. Sometimes before I go to sleep. Evenings when my SO is on a business trip. Weekends when he’s indulging one of his hobbies.

Most often at nights or first thing in the morning, stealing in several hundred words before I have to start work. That can make a shitty cross town commute go faster.

Midnight is my favorite time to write, especially when I follow the medieval sleep cycle. That doesn't mean I can only write at midnight. I can write anywhere, anytime. As long as I have a writing tool, whether that is a pencil and paper, or my phone, I can write.

I’ve found I’m more creative when my kids have gone to bed and my husband is out. It allows the freedom for my mind to wander

Late morning through noon. Also late afternoon after a nap.

I used to write at night a lot, but now I'm tired at night and use that period to relax.

I go through waves of creativity. Currently waiting to catch the next wave so I can finish some stuff.

It also depends on my sleeping schedule.

But if I can go to bed at like 8pm while planning out the next part of a story I wanna write, I'll wake up around 4am with tons of momentum then write my ass off.
