The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Kind of a slow afternoon and evening. No one is keeping score. There be clean sheets. TDK never got off the bed as I made it up. She still hasn't. I reckon that I know who isn't in charge.

I just added "TDK" to the computer's dictionary.

Off to attempt to attract some Sleep Weasels.

Bees in the garlic chives… they are especially prominent this time of year…. Also some black eyed Susan, heliopsis, cone flower and a few other flowers.
Beautiful! Thanks for keeping those pollinators over by you.

Cool enough here for perfect t-shirt weather... and not a pollinator in my sight. 🥰🥰

On brand. Go kitty!
Sweet dreams you two

How is it still today? I may need to rustle up some sleep weasels of my own since I skipped the Nappatizer earlier. 🥱

Nappatizer I love that word!

It IS a great saying... Hello by the way..
Welcome back... nice to see you hanging out here again
Morning Z? What can I come up with today…

This is the Angel Oak on John’s Island, south of Charleston. It’s not the side you usually see getting photographed but I thought this was a cool angle. It has B&W potential also? 🧐 I had to really crop this down to make it fit. The old version of Photo on the iPad would let you size. Now I have to crop, screen shot, crop, till it fits. The original shot of this is more striking because the limbs on the ground appear to be reaching out to you…that got lost in this translation…
@HumpDayHoratio this doesn't quite match what I had in my head, but closest I could find...
The first group, the Mayyas, up until the veil remove makes me think of your photo.
the whole piece is stunning... but tree vibe? Yes! Even cropped it came through IMO

Yes done that… I use daily now while on the hill. Forgot then one day last season… took a week before the second came out.
I once had bilateral (both eyes) corneal abrasions. You literally cannot see when that happens. My girlfriend was dating an ophthalmologist and made him come to my house to examine and treat me. I couldn't work for several days until my eyes healed. I was lucky; without prompt treatment, I could have needed a corneal transplant.

So day three on the hill and a complete contrast with the last. It was largely dry and only one shower. I had a new young dog out for his first day and he was wonderfully calm. It was a quiet day so I was able to keep the pressure off him. For pir last drive I was up high looking down from here. It is one of the most spectacular spots on our the partridge drives.

So just a great day and I can relax with the new dog now.
Beautiful view, G! Glad your new dog had a good outing! 💕

No, I drive 2 or 3 miles over and that's it. Google does a good job monitoring the speeding limits and where da poelease at.

Speeding is merely the illusion of getting There more quickly.

I was making a crack about Authority without benefit of quoting where I was quipping.
I routinely drive about 8-9 over on the freeways. Somehow, I always know when our law enforcement are about. I call it cop-dar! 😅😅

Morning all. Hope everyone had a nice start to the weekend.. it was hot but not humid here for the last couple of days. Weather man says some rain this weekend, but not a cloud in the sky. Better get out and enjoy before it comes.

Morning Z? What can I come up with today…
