The unlocked room

Sorry I missed it so fucking live with it. It was referenced in the post above mine.

Thank you for the voice of calm and nuanced reason.

In retrospect, I begin to regret having opened this. Look, folks, I thought I was being clear; obviously not and that’s on me. However we think appropriate, we have (waving magic wand) established beyond any doubt that all concerned are maybe 20 years old and the underage minefield can be ignored.

That behind us, I do like some of the developmental suggestions and would be happy to continue .

Don't let it get to you. It goes with the territory of print communication that things can be misunderstood.

I've often found that, even with direct, face-to-face verbal chatting, people can come away with vastly different ideas of what was said. All part of life's rich pageant. I'll credit you with not being a sinister, evil person... way, way below even average on the Trumpometer...

For a whole college year?
No obviously not! <Inserts XKCD attachment>

I've rented such things for a weekend, or maximum a week. And I might've skewed those numbers in my favour. That's with 9 to 17 people. At least the three times I remember the numbers. I don't know how many the story will need, but it would he difficult to write that many characters. Unless this is a core group that didn't go to the 8h walk that day to chill in the swimming pool or something.

Though in Montenegro we had this smaller house with 6 people, one if which a son (from good friends of my partner). Swimming pool. Gigantic garden (very steep on the slope of a mountain), and an attic (part of my outline inspiration). They had done something weird to get there though. From the outside it looked like a normal floor, but we couldn't identify any normal way to get there except two trapdoors, which we didn't open for privacy reasons.
