When can a male character have an erection? Sadly Female arousal is so much easier to mask. for a new story with a new couple is it okay for a 25 year old to get hard while holding hands with his date as they walk from the resturant to the car? Begs the question, when do women readers want to know that the male character is totally into her (not just mentally but physically)?

I have no veto over whether someone has an erection or not. As to my reaction (and it can be noticeable or not depending on the guy, what pants he is wearing, and how he’s arranged), that kinda depends on the guy and the situation. If I’m interviewing for a job, or confessing my sins to Father Murphy, it could be problematic.

When they are over 18 and still alive. (I'm assuming rigor mortis references would be too close to snuff.)

oh, this just gave me a new topic ... what if the guy is hot you are unable to get him hard? you try for 45 minutes to seduce him but nothing ...

He’s not hard as he’s not into me, or as he has a physical / psychological problem?

I don’t really do seduction. I initiate things verbally or physically and see what happens. If he’s not into it or me, I back the fuck off.

I’m actually so glad I don’t have to deal with dating shit any longer 😊.

There is an episode of a show featuring Brooke Shields as a kitchen or home specialist of some kind. They're shooting a TV spot or something. She's in the kitchen setting and the crew is getting set up for the shoot. Her male costar walks on set and takes his place near her. They do a few things, maybe running lines ... I don't recall exactly.

At some point with a rather disgusted look on her face she complains ... "He's HARD!!!!"

Uhhh, like no shit. Most guys within 20' of her at that point in her life would have been.

I cant remember the show though, maybe Arrested Development or similar.

Who said every female reader wants the same thing? How do you want the plot to go?
