I agree... I did that once in high school.
Was a rare Nap Attack... fell asleep kneeling at the foot of my bed unpacking my backpack.
Poof - got woken up by the dinner bell yell.
Wouldn't have been so bad except I was wearing contact lenses at the time... this was before extended wear was a thing.

Procedure went fine (done in 40 mins) and she was just given a local, so recovered very quickly. The wait to get her back was long but she walked out of there standing tall! Next on the docket…radiation treatment…

That shot was from 9 yrs ago on an iPhone. I’ve always liked the shot, but I agree, it needs to be cleaned up a bit…maybe edit the wire connections out of the top? I’ll work on it this weekend if time and repost the updated B&W.

Gnight all!! Fell asleep during the US Open and the nets. The Mets somehow escaped a bases loaded no one out jam.

Tennis was good too. I liked the auger -allisame but it was not to be. Some good finals coming up.

That’s been the fun part of jumping back in this hobby…obsession? Learning all the little formulas of the manual side of the camera. I’ve shot in AP (Aperture Priority) for so long I’d forgotten all the little rules of thumb. This has sort of forced me to go back to school on this. It’s been fun!

Hospital day for me. Momma’s getting her disk fused today for that broken bone. Hopefully this takes away her pain

Today’s MZ was an attempted “artistic” geometric shot. Taken at Gibbs Hill Lighthouse on Bermuda of the Fresnel Lens. This has potential as a B&W but it might have too much white noise in it? I’ll play around with it.

First time I read this, my eyes edited out the word "not" Minor detail, right?

Shame - was a lovely bespoke gift from OM on her way out of town.
I haven't been able to find it online, but finding a lot of skin along the way - so not a total loss

It was a cheeky photo of a couple in the backyard. He's in the back mowing the lawn while she's in the forefront of the image sitting in a lawn chair. It's clear they're both without a stitch of clothing... but all the Fun Bits are positioned so they are not on display. Naked no nudity

same vibe as this image, but different
guessing the Lit Overlords scrubbed it - either copywrite or nudity or both

Thanks Boat! It went better than expected. She’s home and safe and I can hunker down for the weekend finally.

Here’s the promised edits to that Lens shot. Cleaned up the wires in Apple Photo then sent it off to Lightroom for the B&W edits. Just kind of played w slides because I don’t know what I’m really doing, but it brought out the dusty dingy ceiling and highlighted the Lens. Not bad. Fun playing with it.

This took several crops…I will just take an onscreen shot, then crop it down…had to tighten it 4 times! Maybe the jumping between LR and Photos is messing with the size…not sure.
