The WSJ reports that “at least one influential gun rights advocate reached out to the White House on Thursday to raise concerns that restricting gun rights for groups such as transgender people would be unconstitutional, a person familiar with the matter said. The advocate was assured that the Justice Department wouldn’t be moving forward with any such proposals, the person said.” But again, we don’t know who that person is.
