Last day of the school holidays here. Frantic check to make sure they have everything. Uniform. PE kits. Pencils. Rulers. They now have weekly checks to make sure they have the right utensils in their pencil cases…..so weird.

Yes and that wasn't so long ago for me. Some things were inevitably missing though it was more about OMG how much have you grown and 'does it fit?' and a mad dash to the sports shop for kit...

The roundabout at the end of our village will be gridlocked twice a day again now - main secondary school about a mile away and it's the main road into town.....
