Sperm competition is a form of post-copulatory sexual selection where sperm from multiple males compete to fertilize an egg. This competition drives evolutionary adaptations in both males and females to increase their reproductive success.

Biology favors the slut?

And perhaps the bigger or faster sperms. Subconsciously, this could be why some are attracted to cuckolding, and those types of things.

It's pretty clear that humans are not made for monogamy, at least not in terms of actual sex. We certainly pair-bond, but sperm competition is real and women have a biological drive to stray.

The coronal ridge on the glans of the penis evolved in order to give men the ability to scoop out semen left behind by rival males.

Agreed. To all of the above. And the glans actually work that way too. Several videos posted here show it. Kinda hot really.

The sperm competition theory has not held up well after many attempts to replicate the original research. There is, at this time, no solid evidence of this phenomenon. Hate to disappoint everyone, but science is science

What do you mean there's no solid evidence?

There was some research that seemed to confirm the notion of sperm competition, maybe 15-20 years ago.

However, follow-up research failed to replicate the findings of that work, so the consensus now is that the sperm-competition theory has not held up.

Listen, it made sense to me; my urgency in that regard certainly suggested it was more than simply a kink.

There is solid evidence for the notion in some species (dragonflies, for one), but for humans it does not appear to be a sound theory, based on subsequent research.

I don't have specific citations, but my information comes from Dr. David Ley, who wrote the sort of bible on hotwifing/cuckolding, etc., Insatiable Wives. He presented information about sperm competition as it pertains to men whose wives have sex with other men, but he has since expressed that he wishes he had not included it, because it hasn't held up.
