More seriously, it's hard to judge because it's probably a matter of nuance. Is it about a BDSM relationship that happens to be between people of different races, or a mixed race relationship that happens to feature some BDSM sex? If you can answer that question, the choice is probably obvious. If you're fetishizing either aspect, that's probably where you'll find a more receptive audience, although there are subsets of readers in both who object to such treatment (anecdotal observation on my part).

Without knowing anything about the story, I would probably do BDSM because IR will include a lot of poeple looking for romance. I'd only do IR if the race aspect was really important to the story and the BDSM was handled gently.
