Can We Talk Canes?

Mistress has mentioned more than once that she would like something "stiffer but slimmer". Meaning, something stiffer than our whip style implements but not as wide as a paddle. She's thinking a cane would be nice but isn't full committed. It could have some give to it she says, just not a lot.

I always kinda liked using fiberglass canes on people, but the ones I had were usually brittle. You'd open the toy box and find the damn thing broken when you wanted to use it.

Yw! In defense of the canes, I have always just bought the cheap ones. Nicer ones might not be so brittle. Enjoy your possible upcoming caning adventures!

Canes can be more accurate. I safe worded when a small one was used on my balls. Much depends on who and how they are used. The worst for me was a strap that my Domme sopped before the count because I was in distress but still counting as instructed. For @HyposMuse and myself, wood dowels (usually birch) are very effective. Any Home Depot or the like will have them. I also have a "flat" a length of poplar that's about 21/2" wide by 3/8" thick. My jewel can probably offer more insight on how they feel and what lasting effects there are (some of those "effects" lasted a bit).

I have three thicknesses in dowels ranging from slim and extremely flexible, for stinging and light striping. A dowel a touch thicker for more lasting welts and a fairly heavy one for deeper penetrating pain.* The bottom line is a $10 bill to a hardware store and a little work and you have a very versatile and effective array.

*NOTE: On the thicker ones they have to be very carefully selected and exactly applied zones. When we're talking about deep pain, essentially only a couple of locations are safe. FTR, my Muse and I also test out strength and speed of the impacts. Other than teting, I haven't had to use the heavy one on her.

The heavier one can be applied with less power and a smaller arc to produce a deeper pain but remain safer. A BIG item, is know how to swing one before you try it on a living breathing gift of a sub. Know where to apply the impact and be able to hit the target zone.
