Cold process, so lye. It's definitely a learning curve, and I was terrified when working with lye the first few times, but I've been making soap for about 6 years now. I love making customized bars for my family/friends.

My sister's cat LOVES wearing clothes... it's probably one of the few times she stays still/acts like she has some sense 😂
I am way too impatient for soap, all that time curing only to find out a batch is a dud ... NO THANKS! That hobby swiftly morphed into an out of control FO & EO addiction collection


What a weirdo cat! Whenever I've put clothes on cats (sometimes even collars) they either bounce around the room like a ball in a pinball machine or just flop over. :LOL:

I miss being able to make my own soap! Do you use mica for coloring?
