Most restaurants here are chains but I watch a lot of cooking shows, bon appetit my favorite, which goes to many places in NYC. Cities scare me. :)

I eat out. Places I eat out at are mostly good.

As your 50/50 description is less than elaborative, I have no idea what Shangri-La is to you.

I have noticed .any rural areas haveost service employees due to meth/fentanyl. Maybe that is impacting you.

Mostly it's college kids going back to school right now. We don't get a lot of out of work actors waiting for their big break here. I am happy that you get such good service in Shangri-La. :)

Well, you haven't exactly elaborated on what made you so disappointed that you need to create a thread to tell everyone.

As for where I live- it's Ohio. I've never heard a single part of this state be referred to as Shangri La.

I'm happy that I don't ever feel the need to whine about food service in a political forum. Your results obviously vary.

Maybe I was looking for other poster's opinions or theier experiences, not just relaying my experiences. If you need to make everything about me, perhaps you have a thing for me. :)

i've been obsessed with cake decorating videos.

I get the whole comfort food thing~I maintain a hearty appetite, just careful with what that consists of.

As scary as eating out costs the city has become just too filthy to be comfortable eating anywhere.
