As 1174 notes, immigration law enforcement has not been halted. I suspect the judge is improperly interpreting environmental law in order to advance a political agenda, but I hope I’m wrong. If closure helps protect endangered Florida wildlife, that’s cool. Plenty of other places to pop up detention centers.
