The Nazis weren't religious. Neither were the Communists. In the War in the Ukraine both sides are Eastern Orthodox, so religious differences are not an issue.

The deadliest war Americans fought was the American Civil War. Both sides were Christian, and usually Protestant Christian, so religion was not a factor.

Fundamentalist Jews are even more radical about not engaging with people outside the community. They are scolds to their fellow Jews, but don't give a damn about the goyim. The Nazis did not kill Jews for religious reasons. Hitler's Table Talk 1941 - 1944 consists of comments Hitler said in private to associates and foreign dignitaries. On page 7 Hitler says, "the heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew." Hitler's Table Talk is full of comments like that.

The Nazis were culturally Christian and had the support of the church. Antisemitism isn't religious intolerance though. It's race hatred. The Jews were "foreigners" corrupting the purity of the German race.

The difference is so minor its not worthy of discussion. The only real difference between the two is Christians in the West are to fractured to really implement certain things. I hate religion mostly equally but as an American Islam has pretty much zero effect on my life. Christianity dominates the politics and culture here.

I am very curious how Mohhamed became the most popular baby name. I'm just intensely curious.
