The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I've worked and inspected commercial farms for insurance companies.
I can smell them when I open the door at Kroger, hence, I buy ALL of my meat from a local processor... Miller's treats me like a fukkin f'g Kang!
I buy 1/2 a cow from a local farmer about 1x a year and it is processed locally!!

About 5.50 to 6 a lb average.....

Just have to have freezer room!!
 
Last night we worked at the 4-H fair. A lot of fun and saw a lot of people I knew.

Had sausage sandwich for dinner and really good homemade ice cream. It was WOW!

Off to be busy, run errands, mow, lawns, and deliver firewood. Everyone behave.

I call them "cholesterol bombs"... ⅓ pound sausage patty, egg, and double cheese on a bun.

Yep, hate when your wallet is bigger than your freezer!

With the new garden kicking, we're running out of space. And we have a dozen whole chickens coming from the neighbor yet. 🤷‍♂️

That's the beauty of it... the most primo sausage I get at my market, costs less than Jimmy Dean in the store!
...plus, I get a cash discount and free hats that say
"Nobody Beats Our Meat"
