Oh good, a new page!

I know I've been a little quiet this week, it's because I'm getting ready to head out of town on Sunday for a big work conference -- or Geek Summer Camp as hubby likes to refer to it.

I'm holding off on posting any Daisy After Darks until I get back home. I feel vulnerable when I post those, so it's just better for them to wait until after I get home. But I will warn you -- I started writing the next fantasy and my keyboard asked me if it could have a cigarette after I hit save.

Since I'm trying to get packed, everything is in the wash. Casual Friday is a little more casual than usual. Thank goodness us geeks like to Zoom with cameras off.

I am finally finding some time to work on my overdue replies. Before I get started, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who comes to this thread. To everyone who has commented, who has supported me and who has cheered me on. Y’all have seen me go from the death-grip on my sweater to pretty fucking daring. It’s been an amazing thing to go through.

But sometimes there are setbacks. Yesterday was one of those days. I was close to packing it all in and going back into hiding.

I love this little corner of Lit we’ve carved out here. I love how friendly and kind everyone is. You all have been so amazingly supportive of me, and it truly blows me away. Thank you for helping create this sweet little spot. Thank you for helping me smile as much as I hope I help you smile.
