Essentially, one can. Age, immune system status, chronic diseases can all potentiate a relapse.

I am on the fence if I should get a vaccination for it. It’s low probability of a second episode but man… painful as fuck.

I had a productive day. Not @Wonderer67 productive, but good for me! Today was a gym day.

The first thing my trainer did was put me on the "big kids" leg press! She started me at 190 lbs as a warm-up. Then kept adding 45s. I did two sets at 460 lbs! My legs were mush but I felt pretty proud of myself!

Then, she had me dead lifting 95 lbs! I keep reminding her I'm OLD!

We're in a heat wave here for a day or two. I'm so thankful for the AC!

Yes Ma'am there's a lot of 'em... they come out around dusk, but we do have lots of Dragonflies that feed on 'em and I'm going to put up some Purple Martin houses to help with that too!

News was good…for now. They were able to get all the cancer in the hysterectomy except for a small area that had migrated to the uterine muscle? Help me out here medical professionals…don’t know much ‘bout Biology…don’t know much ‘bout Science Books… So they’re going to target that one spot w radiation…but, they don’t want to do this until this bone in her back heals…which brings us to the other doc…

They’re talking about going in and glueing it? So possibly another procedure on the horizon. Still in pain and still on some high powered meds (one of the Oxy’s) but she’s in good spirits. When I took her to her nuke MRI thing, I noticed for the first time just how frail she’s become. . Odd how we don’t see these things coming on?

Spent some time with her yesterday and we just had a nice time together. SWMBO cut me loose to throw a round or two of darts and then we had a nice supper and retired to the couch where I binged on House-O-Dragon and she got her head rubbed for like 4-5 episodes before I flamed out like so many of those critters on that show!
