External links - a change to the rules?

So, reading part 6 of Life of Anne by @Nightaelf (I'm really enjoying the whole series, though part 5 had me shouting at the screen).

On page 2, there are hyperlinks to YouTube.

Is that a change in literotica policy? Or did it just slip through the net? Or maybe the author got special dispensation?

I doubt it’s an accident; compliance with this particular rule is very easy to verify automatically.

Maybe the author just asked nicely, and considering Youtube isn’t exactly a malicious site nor is it benefiting from Lit-originated traffic in any substantial way, Laurel granted an exception.
 
I didn’t even realize they were still in there to be honest. I had put them in and then figured I should double-check whether that was actually allowed. When I read that it wasn’t, I took them out of my text, or so I thought, and during the final check before uploading I honestly didn’t pay attention to it anymore. I didn’t ask nicely if it was allowed, but I think it just completely slipped past the moderator’s attention.
