Putting up ANY kind of decoration on El Capitan is pretty tacky in my opinion. I can understand how this happened.
Of course, the O.P's major beef is that it is a PRIDE flag, as opposed to, say, a "Don't Tread on Me," KKK, or Trump 2024 flag- in which case he would have posted the same article and instead, been outraged about how the "Woke" park service dismissed a "Great Patriot." This is the point.

But because it was a Pride flag, naturally you think it should be ripped down and burned, and the people responsible for hanging it there in the first place ought to be persecuted.

For the record, a natural setting such as Yosemite is better off without ANY flags of any kind flying from El Capitan. Fly that shit on your own property, not our public national park.

If they had investigated his "Victory" in 2024 with the same thoroughness and zeal that they did Biden's victory in 2020, I have no doubt some serious irregularities would have surfaced, unfortunately the Democrats were too chickenshit to do so.
Trump's legal cases being "Dismissed" were the result of Trump's takeover of the judiciary, and his intimidation and threats of independant the few remaining judges. That should not be an indication of his innocence. Hitler was never convicted of his blatant crimes either. Doesnt' mean he wasn't guilty of them.
Your zealous love and support of totalitarian and authoritarian government has clouded your logic and your judgement. You simply are unable to percieve things how they are, so eager are you for Trump to rule the country with an iron fist.

It's not really as simple as that, and not as simple as you or the hisarpy/rebel5s of the world would like it to be.
It's really easy to judge trans women, but difficult to understand what gender dysphoria really is, how it feels to be born into the wrong body, to think of yourself as female when you are not. I knew such a person once. Even as a kid, (and remember this was clear back in the early 80s!) he/(they) knew they was not like the other boys, didn't think of himself as one, and was more effeminate than most of the girls! It is a real thing, and it is a rare thing.
However I do agree that because this issue is so politicized, one unfortunate consequence of this is it may inadvertently lead to people questioning their gender identity who might otherwise had not done so. And the issue of trans people playing womens sports, that's also a tricky and complicated issue.
