Hate symbol removed

The essence of Trump's America is given by his plan to re-open Alcatraz.

Close a museum. Open a prison. Is that America today?

Painting it was a political act, yes, but not a "cruel" one unless you're a bigot.

Reporting the news is not the same as being "fine with it", and removing statues of people who are mostly if not exclusively known for atrocities like slavery is not "airbrushing history". It is simply recognizing who does and does not deserve to be honored. People like Columbus, who not only triggered centuries of genocide but was also known to his own crew as a sadistic monster, should be remembered but not honored (and didn't you know who he was before you'd ever seen a statue of him?) People like Robert E. Lee, who took up arms against their own country in defense of the right to own other human beings, should be remembered but not honored. People who were murdered in cold blood when they were literally just having fun and enjoying life? They deserve to be honored. Hope that helps.

The OP is a bigot.

That is the point.

Gays, blacks, hispanics, women- the dude spends all this time on this forum, creating dozens of threads each day.... and hating.

The hisarpy/Rebel5Soul/Wallstreet/Glamorilla guy is worse though. At least Busybody (calling himself 1984x2024 here) only uses one or two screen names at a time.
