The Democratic Party Faces a Voter Registration Crisis

It's gotten so bad that even the young men in popular culture are telling the DNC cabal to go fuck themselves.

The MAGAts really don't see that the media sanewashes trump's most insane ramblings. They gloss over his dementia and racism.

While that's very true it goes way beyond that. The media is I suppose luke warm all things said on social issues. They kinda get behind Pride month. They get behind Christmas Season which at least where I live starts about three days before Halloween. Once they are through selling costumes and the candy is on the discount rack they go straight to Christmas. The only time in recent history I've seen a mildly positive media wide acknowledgement of Hannukah was that one year it decided to overlap with Thanksgiving. I know its a "floating" Holiday and it roams between late November and late December but it seems to usually roughly align with Christmas.

By contrast while its mostly Fox and thus far Trump has been silent on the subject (give it time) I have to deal with a few months of the legendary war on Christmas. Maybe this year someone dared show Adam Saddler's 'Eight Crazy Nights'. There might have been a story on CNN about how the oil shouldn't have lasted a day during the siege but it lasted for eight fucking nights. Yes thanks to INCLUSIVE studies when I was still in elementry school I'm passingly aware of what Hanukkah is and isn't.

I don't see the media doing much backing of Sanders, Warren or AOC. They are somewhat positive when they mention all of them but none of them are just in the news for existing and when they are its usually the Right screeching about how health care will bankrupt America.

Our country is so fucking right wing as a whole that the media is smeared as being liberal just because they aren't openly bigotted. Like they can be low key bastards but as long as they keep it low key its fine.
 
That's between 2020 and 2024, no word on what's happened since then with Twitler's approval rating dropping by the day. Besides, notice the biggest drops were in already solid red states (Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia, etc.) Besides, the NYT is among the numerous publications lately taken over by Trump lackeys. Of course they're going to say the sky is falling on the Dems. I'm old enough to remember 1995, when they were saying the same and even suggesting Clinton shouldn't even bother running for a second term. Sure would've been nice for the Republicans if he'd taken that advice, huh?

Wouldn't go that far; we're still being "led" by a narcissist with the maturity of a six year old. But that's exactly why I think the Dems will clean up next year.

I like the Democratic Party’s chances going forward - as long as the "Independent voters" hold the Democratic Party candidates & MAGAt republican candidates to slightly more equitable standards…

Yep. Nothing for Dems to worry about in irrelevant states like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. And of course the NYT has been “taken over by Trump lackeys.” Lol
