Kinda Fonda Wanda

No real story idea here.
Just love the potential title, but other than a desire for Wanda I don't have much.
Who is Wanda?
Who is the protagonist?
Is it a voyeur story?
Is the "fondness" unrequited or rewarded?

Voyeur at first. Wanda is a co-worker/supervisor at your first job. She's older, not really that attractive. But there's something about her that has guys chasing her. Maybe it's her commanding presence and her sense of style. You're curious about what she gets up to, you hear things secondhand, once she has too much to drink and confesses something mildly shocking.

Years later you see someone who looks familiar. She's not so well dressed, not so commanding. She's not down and out but not the hot commodity she used to be. But your old crush draws you to her and she is overjoyed to see someone from the old days. After a few drinks you're at her place and she shows you the full range of her repertoire. Not the hottest lay you ever had but the one you'll remember forever.

Prospecting was a difficult task
