It is almost eerie here this morning, between the new story not posting and the majority of the posts in AH (goring the game threads) being in this zombie quiet thread. I think there were owere single digit posts to other non-game threads in the nine hours I was away. By far the quietest it has been. Did we mention Stephen King one too many times in a thread? We summoned his long dead creative spirit and brought it against our sleep little hamlet.

Ahhh, if only I could gore them out of here, or at least out of my view. I wouldn't mind them so much if I couldn't see them.

August is slow. But there is also always a trickle of people leaving, or (like me frequently) taking a break. Perhaps the trickle has increased.
