What happens .... our Regulator does an investigation and guess what they find

No file notes
Handwritten notes that do exist are illegible; and
No Reasoning or rationale for decisions

There was so much st000pid at work yesterday that I wrote a windy email to management simply relating the st000pid to them so that they can have an idea for when we go into this weekly situation meeting this afternoon. I think that I managed to describe each st000pid for their reading enjoyment.

I did programming on industrial control computers. Regardless of the system there were provisions to add notes to the program about what was the purpose of each line on what was supposed to happen. I made copious notes for several reasons not the least of which was my poor memory.

It's finally crew change day, but nobody knows when, as the rig's "company man" is pissed and having a "di@&wagging contest."

Welcome home Boat. Made it in yesterday also. Good to be back in port!

News on the medical front. Momma’s best friend is a lady that lived across the street. The middle child is a nurse and she found my mother a back doc. Well…it turns out that after two MRI’s in the ER…she had a broken bone in her back after all…. I was so pissed when I heard this. A lot of pain and suffering over the last week…anyhow, they’ve got her on some different meds and she’s resting. I’m going over for a Health&Welfare meeting today to make sure she’s comfy. I think we go see her oncologist tomorrow. Hopefully, she’s on the mend.

Hurricane looks like it’s staying away. Light breeze and cloudy today. Let Erin slip on out to sea…
