Trump dispatches ICE to Gavin Newsom press conference, Newsom calls out "weak president"

Per the San Francisco Chronicle:

California’s unemployment rate rose to 5.5% in July, the highest among U.S. states, as tech and other office jobs showed more weakness and hiring remained sluggish, according to state data released Friday.

The state added a net 15,000 jobs, pushing the unemployment rate up 0.1 percentage points from June to the highest rate since December. California’s rate was higher than the national unemployment rate of 4.2% in July.
California’s trade, transportation and utilities sector saw a net gain of 1,300 jobs statewide in July compared to June, while manufacturing was up by 300 jobs, though it’s lost 32,500 jobs since July 2024.
Two areas of strength in California’s economy are the health care sector — which along with private education added 23,100 jobs statewide in July — and perhaps surprisingly, government, which added 7,200 jobs.

What poll? Did you make that nonsense up? Newsom is an incompetent nut.

Your English skills say you need to be deported.
Did you not post a 2025 map of the most gerrymandered states. MA invented gerrymandering. Still the most complete gerrymandered state in the union as evidenced by the zero republican representation in that state. CT. suffers from the same ailment but less districts. The reason I mentioned MA and CT is because they're maxed out.

I already said your English sucks, traitor. No need to parrot me.

True, but that was 200 years ago. The lines have moved somewhat since then.

The Republicans are not shut out in MA and CT because of gerrymandering, they're shut out because there is no part of either state large enough to be a congressional district where the Republicans are a majority. Heck, if you wanted a district in either state where the Republicans could win, you would have to gerrymander it!

Now, if you want an example of a state that's dominated by one party and has been gerrymandered to be even more favorable to that party, the best example is Utah. Relatively blue Salt Lake City, which should really be in a single district of its own, is instead split across all four of the state's districts, all of which also take in vast swaths of rural (and overwhelmingly Republican) territory.

How would MA gerrymander EVER HAPPEN? if there is
VVVVV
MA state house 134 dems
25 pub
MA state senate 35 dems
5 pubs.

Change ain't never going to happen.

Like most of New England, MA used to be very Republican. Change happens.
And none of what you say here proves it's gerrymandered. The contrary if anything.
