At this point, the best we can do is push for negotiations between the warring parties. Sanctioning Russia further won’t solve the problem; we’ve already hit them with years of harsh sanctions that ended up hurting our European allies more than Moscow. Do we really want to damage India and other Asian partners who buy Russian oil too? If peace is going to come to Ukraine, it has to be driven by the Russians, Ukrainians, and Europeans. America can assist, but this is not our burden to carry, nor our war to fight.

1. Killing murderers is not murder. It is justice.

2. In World War Two the brunt of the fighting against the Germans was done by the Allies. The Russians did the bulk of the dying but even in this the Russians killed more of their own people in the course of the war than the Germans did. The Germans hold no shame for the inhumanity of the Russians against their own people and against the other people of Europe.
