Hey all you 'they should have a baby' commenters

How 'bout you @Frankie1952 , you happy?

FatDog, you? Maybe you are?

I'm not contributing to anybody's fetish for people getting pregnant and having babies.
This is an erotic story site and regardless of what you do or don't put in your stories, people will suggest you add something else. Most of the time this is meant in a well meaning way, they think they're helping you with your story by giving you an idea.

Or, maybe you're right and they just want to always push their own kinks onto everyone, but all they can do is suggest it.

On the note of pregnancy, if you want to see "they should knock her up" comments, head on over to the Taboo category, its a big time fetish over there.

And a big time squick to me and I've never done it, and won't, but I don't get upset people say it, its their thing, just not mine.

I think you should step away from the forum and the site for a little while and calm down.

If you keep this up, the mod could end up removing your posts then you're really going to go off the deep end.

Not worth it.

That's a radical purge. It's a shame you felt you had to do that.

Why didn't you just delete the serial pest's comments, or block comments completely, rather than delete your work?

This.

OP, don't put this on someone else. You can't control what they do. You can only control your response.

From what I can tell, your response here is extreme. But it was your choice, not someone else's.

There was a VERY specific reason I stopped posting links to stories or full story titles some weeks or months back, or at least limit that to contest threads.

Then some dog had to not only violate privacy but make an issue out of it.

Maybe it's extreme given how you'd interpret that type of comment, but it's not you that's experiencing it so maybe your judgement isn't helpful in this situation.
I expected that kind of lack of understanding.

Violation of privacy is an extreme issue for me. It happened on another thread recently started by someone else. Some people just can't keep their noses to themselves.

Now they got nothin' to look at.

With respect, it's not "lack of understanding." I too have had problems involving violation of privacy.

What I meant to point out is that the decision to delete everything was YOURS. I don't think it's fair to pin that decision on this Fat person. They did something disrespectful and foolish, but YOU decided how to respond to it.

I'm sorry you're going through this. There are other ways to respond to it. I think it's sad that the site is now deprived of your works.

Your writing skills are exceptional, so if the urge to write returns, please consider adding a second account under a new name and different email. Perhaps focus on mature or romance where pregnancy is not in the equation.

Let me see if I understand what happened (I did see the other thread, but not before you deleted at least one post of your own from it):

In a forum thread, someone posted about a story which at the time had been visible on your story profile.

I get that you didn't like the content of the post.

But if this is what happened, can you really call it violating-privacy? Like - just because you don't put links to your stories in the forum, that doesn't mean forum users have no right to access your story list and then read, share, link or comment on what they find there.

Maybe I have it all wrong and something else is what happened.

It's usually the best policy to assume we don't know the whole story.

I saw the Convo before either side deleted posts. She blasted someone for commenting about wanting the couple to have a baby. Guy that she keeps going on about suggested that she maybe be a little nicer to her readers. She went off on him about her stories and how there's a reason she doesn't post links to them in the forums. (He might've put a link to the story, and then gotten rid of it. But I didn't see a link so that part was confusing. Or he might've gone into her story and commented. It was very unclear as to what she was upset about.) He said he was going to put her on ignore and step out of the thread and suggest she do the same.

She's been very angry since, and I honestly still don't get it even though I saw most of the back and forth without any editing. Although, his posts are now gone, so he must've deleted them. Or maybe he's quite the forums over this, I dunno. 😵‍💫

I confess I don't understand what's going on.

What is the violation of privacy?

You're deleting ALL your stories because of some negative comments, or because of repeated suggestions that characters should get pregnant? I don't understand.

Why not just delete the comments?

None of us enjoys a right of privacy here in the sense of a right to limit how people see or react to our stories.

I'm confused.

I hope the OP will reconsider.

Everybody who writes incest stories gets these "they should have a baby" comments. I do. They come with the territory. They make me laugh. They are no reflection in any way on the merits of your stories. If anything, they are an indication that the reader likes them and wants to see your characters go further together.

I scanned the list of your stories, which are still up for now. Your stories are doing fine in terms of scores, comments (there are a lot of them, or were, because you deleted them), and favorites.

I suspect there’s issues behind her Lit facade that have driven her reaction. She is not obliged to explain what to many has seemed an over-reaction. Occasionally comments can jump off the page, hurt us and trigger us to act in a way that’s purely emotional. It’s not for us to head scratch and push her into a corner. I get it. Let’s move on.
