But is balckberry jam, your jam??Have heard of Blackberry Brandy, but never tried it
Guessing from the recipe that my assumption regarding sweetness would be correct. Not my jam.

We have been worrying about youGood afternoon my friends.
It was very good.... I enjoyed it a lotEnjoy the show
We forgive you....Well, I did it… I threw track (hangs head in shame).. This is the most embarrassing thing you can do as a tanker…
But it wasn’t bad. I just had to get it raised up in the air (2x6s and dig the front and loader up so the track was free.) Then un-tension it, used a breaker bar to get it back on the drive sprocket and return roller and then re-tensioned it. Lost about 2.5 hours worth of work, but just abt got everything done I wanted to.
Cleared some open space for hunting, blazed a bunch of trails, pulled out a fuckton of logs for firewood. So a success regardless.
However, I told a bunch of my old army buddies and they absolutely gave me the business.
A guy who not a great soldier, Ryman (not real name) who was in our troop, broke track on a road in west Baghdad and of course they all broke my balls and compared me to him. But it was also a good catchup with a buncha guys who are some of the best cavalrymen I’d ever served with.
And now onto a late dinner.
NightSweet Dreams, everyone
time for me to call it a night and set a gajillion alarms
Handyman says he'll be here in the AM
Never has this man arrived before mid-afternoon
But I still need to get up early enough to at least check my phone![]()
he comes and finishes all the odds/ends of the jobs that were started... 10 MONTHS ago

We do what we have to do!I started an IV in a boob... we gave code meds through it.... diabetic esrd on dialysis with a fistula... you do what you have to do
Glad you're better. But still... we need you at full fighting strength! Not quite there but it’s a little better…
Same. Work never paid for my license renewal which was over $100/year. Nor my certification renewals which was every 3 years. They did pay for a lot of the classes I could use as "proof" of continuing education.I agree. I have three sort of lame designations that last forever. But the one main one I need for work I have to renew every three years and jump thru hoops to stay qualified for. If work didn’t pay for some of the professional development training i need for it, I’d be fucked.
And if I lost that designation, I’d have a hard time working again if it lapsed.
It seems the storms are getting stronger and more destructive each year.I am in Tampa area so this thing should miss us, I just want to be prepared. If you are hit by one it seems that the recovery is the hard part. There are people that still have not recovered from last year.
If you needed an IV so badly they had to use an unconventional site, you wouldn't care...This sort of grosses me out, but I have such a thing for nurses, I’d be like, “ok.”![]()
Those look very thunder-stormy!That front is heading our way now. Taking a quick break, and listening to the thunder rolling in.
It making for some neat looking clouds.

Who are you??? Are you new here???????Good afternoon my friends.
YUM!!You freeze the berries to break them down then add 2lb of a bottle of whisky and up to 1lb of sugar subject to how sweet the berries are. Start with a half of sugar…. Set aside for 6 month then run off and filter… you can use the the berries in a pudding after.
I'm always at my most contented when I have a pair in easy reach!Me too. I must always have a pair of readers within reach.
It's been a while since I've had to ride out a hurricane on the boat... I don't remember the name of it, but TBH, I really don't even watch the weather when one is coming in on us. Boats float, it's the people on land who really catch hell.It seems the storms are getting stronger and more destructive each year.![]()
I'm pretty sure I'll wind up with a drawer full of glasses, just like Fred Sanford had!Same. I resisted the suggestion from my ophthalmologist for years. When I finally had them done, I asked him why he didn't suggest it earlier!
Of course, I'm now that little old lady who wears her reading glasses on top of her head.I have pairs everywhere!
