So, at this stage, you think it is realistic that Putin, after losing tens of thousands of men taking the territory that he has, is going to just give it up and call it a day? Russia has seized vast swaths of Ukrainian territory by force and shows no sign of surrendering. The West lacks the military strength to compel them to give it back. Russia is now a nuclear power operating on a wartime footing, both militarily and economically. And now the question is: as we approach the negotiation table, who holds the winning hand?
