Ha ha. You could be right. Homicide, illegal gun possession, drug dealing, DUI, lewd acts, and stalking are probably not considered serious crimes in the predominantly Democratic city of Washington DC.
What keeps DC residents up at night is the bone chilling fear of business people directing clerical accounting staff to classify invoice payments to lawyers as legal expenses from pull down menus. There’s at least one resident in the city who was convicted on 34 counts of this horrific, violent felony yet is still free to walk the streets.
