I have an amazing dentist. He won't do any invasive work until I'm completely numb. They even use topical novocaine to numb the injection site.

They tried one without it cuz I am allergic to it. They gave me one w very little Epi in it.

They say this occasionally happens. Fingers crossed.

Epi is a hormone our bodies make. You're probably allergic to some additive or preservative in it.

Health care insurance in this country is ridiculous! I changed insurance this year but checked with my dentist to make sure they took it before I made the final decision.

Evolution is an interesting thing. Back when we were still swinging from tree to tree that kind of observation and judgement would keep you safe. It would not surprise me if some of us still have an affinity for this kind of immediate feeling.
