I miss George Carlin!
To "recharge the batteries" my Wife Goddess and I have a thing that we call "Naked Sunday."Why do weekend activities always include cleaning up?![]()
Welcome and good morning!Good morning everyone
They explicitly told me - no alcohol or marijuana! It's a weird sensation! I remember walking out of the dentist's office, numb on one side only, popping the top on a cold beer... it felt hot on one side of my mouth and cold on the other.![]()
Dude was funny as hell.I miss George Carlin!
So half the people are SMARTER than ME???Average people are st000pid.
Half don't reach that bar . . . .

Having grown up in the southern "Bible Belt" I remember the "Blue Law" when it was illegal to have your business open on Sunday....Dude was funny as hell.
Hard to believe we had really regulated anti-obscenity laws back in the 60s and he and Lenny Bruce challenged them at every turn!
Thank you LiliI'm so glad the procedure went well, H. Very sorry about the spread. Perhaps they got wide enough margins. It depends on what type of cancer and how virulent it is whether or not diet can affect the spread. You'll know more after the results of the biopsies come in. Bring your research to the provider. She should be referred to an oncology service. They frequently have dietitians in such a practice.

Love that habit! To "recharge the batteries" my Wife Goddess and I have a thing that we call "Naked Sunday."
It's a blissful perk of living in the middle of nowhere!
Sitting on the bridge wing, enjoying the ocean breeze and morning coffee... in addition to the wisdom of the fine Spooners! So, what’s up with all of you dudes and dudettes?
There’s a county in NJ right next to NYC that still has blue laws enacted. Nothing open on Sunday.Having grown up in the southern "Bible Belt" I remember the "Blue Law" when it was illegal to have your business open on Sunday....
...and not trying to be crude or obscene, but there were "Sodomy Laws" banning any type of oral or butt play.
I went over yesterday morning and just reloaded mine. I have saved a ton of Avatars as I used to change them monthly on our company board.I took the opportunity to rewrite mine...and update if you will
I wonder, would I rather want to be the smartest of the dumbest or the dumbest of the smartest people? So half the people are SMARTER than ME???
Well at least half are dumberer.
They had the same thing when I lived in Germany (doubt they were called Blue Laws) so you had to plan to get your groceries before 4 pm on Sat if you needed anything on Sunday. There’s a county in NJ right next to NYC that still has blue laws enacted. Nothing open on Sunday.
Go for dumbest of the smart set…that way you can piggy back off their intellect!I wonder, would I rather want to be the smartest of the dumbest or the dumbest of the smartest people?![]()

Thank God she is OK after her fall!!!Thank you Lili. I haven’t had a chance to talk to him yet, other than what he said about the surgery going well. He didn’t tell me it had spread. I’m guessing because she needed to hear it first?
Keto diet is something we can do right off the bat. I’m weaning her off the Sweet&Low and any other chemical crap she has laying about. Thanks for the insight. I’m sure we’ll be on a first name basis with her Oncologist.
Well…about ten mins after I made my post from yesterday, I get a call from my DiL saying grandmommy fell! I went over and Miss Just Had a Hysterectomy decided she was going to fix her TeeVee, went to unplug it, lost her balance and toppled over onto her side…all while holding her tummy so as not to break the stitches!.
I spent the better part of the day at the ER, going through test, X-rays, and a CT scan. Nothing worse than a bruised back and pain. She dodged a bullet on that one. So I lectured her on letting everyone help till she is able to get up and off these meds that make her dizzy. Mothers…

You had me at ocean breeze!Sitting on the bridge wing, enjoying the ocean breeze and morning coffee... in addition to the wisdom of the fine Spooners!
Totally. I was in Germany and France two years ago, and I just had the most peaceful Sunday morning, just walking and enjoying the morning. They had the same thing when I lived in Germany (doubt they were called Blue Laws) so you had to plan to get your groceries before 4 pm on Sat if you needed anything on Sunday.
The funny thing is, once we got used to it…we kind of liked the slower pace of life. Wife and I both had a little culture shock coming back to the states and the 24/7 pace.

I’m sooooo confused!Interesting, but, wouldn’t you be smart enough to know you are dumbest?
Whereas, if I were the smartest of the dumbest, at least one could rejoice of that feat!

It was like that here when I was a kid. Things changed in the early 80s.Totally. I was in Germany and France two years ago, and I just had the most peaceful Sunday morning, just walking and enjoying the morning.
Restaurants are open on Sundays, but that’s about it…
I agree, I really liked it!
At least you are king!I’m sooooo confused!
I’m the king of the dummies! Or I am the dumbest of the smarties!
