Hello !

Ok so I was wondering if there was a hidden option (I've checked many times) to get automated e-mails regarding our dashboard activity, more precisely the status of our submitted works. I searched the forum and found a few people mentioning something that might be it so I'm not sure. But I looked and didn't find anything.
See, the recent wait list regarding authors with stories being in the pending folder for longer times than usual (I hope that's not just me but I digress already) got me annoyed because I'm an anxious lad, and I don't want to spend days refreshing the page to see if it was accepted or sent back when I could get a notification in my e-mail.
I know the forum and the website are work differently but I guess it shouldn't be too complicated to implement.

Did I miss that ?

Not only there is no way to get the email, you won't even get the dashboard notification when your story is approved. The only way to know ASAP is to refresh your Works > Pending page religiously :(

On your latest activity page, you'll get a notification that your story went live.

I have a feeling that unless you are an established author on literotica, the submission process takes longer

my first two chapters were published within 2 days so that's why i wonder

I work on the theory its August. Maybe the owners are having some R&R on a beach with family?

You don't get email notifications for anything.

Days? It's a click, to check status.

When a story is rejected, there's a notice on your dashboard.

You get the notifications on your dash already. Why should the site bother with another overlay?

When stories are approved, the date which they will be published appears in the dashboard. So after approval finally happens, it's not another mystery waiting game before publishing happens. It happens after midnight (U.S. Eastern time) on the morning of the date shown.
