In that case why did the idiot fire the entire task force looking to improve jobs statistics?
It’s true the company is taking a $2 billion hit from the tariffs, meaning it’s profits are expected be lower by that amount. It’s full year guidance says the company expects adjusted earnings before interest and taxes to be between $6.5 and 7.5 billion. The stock is up 12.2% year to date as of market close yesterday.Nothing to see here...just Ford saying it will be losing $2 billion dollars next quarter

Your growth numbers seem a little light. The numbers for the last month have been revised. Americans have gained 2.5billion jobs. Additionally, inflation has been adjusted for the year 2020 to be -386%
The final GDP numbers are out for the entirety of 2025 and 2026. 2025 was 75% growth and 2026 is 150%
For the Biden and Obama years, unemployment has been adjusted to a 7000% increase.
Praise be dear leader and thank you for your attention on this matter.

Tariffs are a tax. The automakers, like all businesses, are lucky the Trump TCJA passed in 2017. For example, the lower corporate tax rate of 21% will save Ford up to $1.5 billion in income taxes this year. New provisions in the OBBB that passed this year will bring additional tax savings thanks to the increased interest deduction and expensing provisions.GM, Ford and Stellantis lost billions in one quarter because of TrumpTariffs.

https://forum.literotica.com/threads/elizabeth-holmes-riots.1556275/[Elizabeth Holms riots] Geez, the case hasn’t even gone to the jury and the rioters in CA are already looting the high end fashion stores. If the verdict goes the wrong way the streets of Walnut Creek, San Francisco, and LA could be filled with blondes in black turtlenecks. Not even going to guess how this would all go down if she were black.
I notice you didn't deny your racism.
I stand by my posts.

lol. You sad little racist. Spin up another thread to cheer yourself up. Maybe someday you’ll get as many engagements as Wat Tyler. Just kidding. Wat’s crushing you.

The tariffs have hurt the shareholders of those companies. No question about it. I haven’t looked at Stellantis and GMs numbers but Ford’s guidance for the year is a profit between $6.5 billion and $7.5 billion. Thank goodness for the TCJA and OBBB. Their stock is up 12.2% year to date. Eventually Canada and Mexico can will to terms with the US and get a reduction on their rates.GM, Ford and Stellantis lost billions in one quarter because of TrumpTariff taxes.

Right. Taxes are painful. Could have been worse. Good thing the TCJA and OBBB are in place. The tariffs have hurt profits of the companies.

You keep shifting. Went from, doesn't hurt consumers, to companies are cool to now "could've been worse"Right. Taxes are painful. Could have been worse. Good thing the TCJA and OBBB are in place.

Nope. I’e said there is scant evidence of any discernible impact on consumers so far. I’ve noted that BMW, which operates its largest manufacturing plant in the US, announced it’s holding the line on pricing for its 2026 models. I’ve acknowledged that Ford expects a $2 billion hit that they expect will lower its profit to between $6.5 billion and $7.5 billion. So far, the company is absorbing the hit. And I’ve noted that the tax rate passed under the TCJA has lowered their tax burden by up to $1.5 billion. When the expensing of assets provisions of the TCJA and OBBB are factored in, coupled with the new interest deductions in the OBBB, the tariff tax is essentially offset. And the reason I brought up that last point is because many here have argued that corporate taxes are too low. You can’t have it both ways. You keep shifting. Went from, doesn't hurt consumers, to companies are cool to now "could've been worse"
Lol...dance maga dance

Products not covered by the USMC that are imported from Canada and Mexico are currently subjected to tariffs. Canada is 35% plus higher tariffs on steel and aluminum. Mexico is 25%. They will eventually come to terms with the US that lowers those rates with terms more in line with the recent agreements made with Japan, the EU and other trading partners.
Babyboozer should step down from their role as the MAGAt gaslighter in chief of the PB - and step away from the bottle.
“Canada and Mexico can will to terms with the US”…
Babyboozer
We. Told. Them. So.
Side note:
The social & economic damage / cost & pain from DonOld & the MAGAt republicans’ dumb tariff decisions AND DonOld & the MAGAt republicans’ One Butt Ugly Bill is materializing; JUST AS PREDICTED by decent, intelligent individuals.
And, contrary to Babyboozer’s drunken gaslighting bullshit narrative, there WERE alternatives available (maaaaany of which were offered / presented by the Democratic Party).
We. Told. Them. So.
