The illegals are NOT a matter of hate. No emotion at all. It's a matter of law and national sovereignty. I do not hate the cockroaches or mice that attempt to invade my home, but I kill them all the same. No emotion, just a matter of maintaining a safe household. If Trump truly hated the illegals he wouldn't have created an exception that would later allow those that chose to self-deport to apply for legal entry. The law reads that if you're caught in the country illegally, you are forever banned from legal entry.

I don't make a study of religion. So, my knowledge of such details is limited, but I take it you mean Pontius Pilate who was a Roman. Perhaps Pilate was going to let him off the hook at the trial (washed his hands of the affair), but he conceded to the crowds' (Jewish) wishes that he should be executed. Kind of equates to a mob lynching without due process. So, was it the Romans or the Jewish mob who condemned him? The Christian church, for centuries, promoted antisemitism, and I gather it was only in relative recent times there has been an apology from the church. That took a while! Perhaps Christians should drop Easter as a celebration. It's not helping.

Ordinary Roman law at the time required that insurrectionists be crucified by Romans only - they reacted very negatively to any of their subject peoples taking law into their own hands. Pilate is invariably seen as the bad guy but under Roman Law at the time he would have been perfectly justified in rounding up all the disciples and crucifying the whole lot. Not harsh by the standards of the time. Remember that Caesar butchered 1 million in Gaul, sold another million into slavery, and allowed the remaining million to starve.

It is also very important to remember that JC was born, lived and died a Jew, never a Christian, that was the invention of Paul and a priesthood seeking earthly power. A totalitarian Muslim ethno-state has about as much respect for women, racial minorities and basic civil liberties as a totalitarian White Christian ethno-state. as in, none whatsoever. Which is why we are so adamantly resisting BOTH OF THEM. Sadly, the U.S. is far closer to adapting the latter than the former. Zorhan Mamdani is an outlier and fortunately, does NOT represent the majority of Democratic voters (or we will be in bigger trouble than we are; one evil vs another evil, neither of them "Lesser..." is still an evil!)
