It’s amazing the first time you get a cut from someone who knows how to cut curly hair, isn’t it? I also recommend cleansing conditioner instead of regular shampoo & conditioner, except once every month or so.

The other trick I learned from the curly hair magician I went to for a few years (before she started charging $90+) is to put gel on when my hair is still completely wet from the shower. Like, I keep it in my shower.

That’s the first thing I do when I get out of the shower!
I just need to be more patient about sectioning out the curls and using a brush to get them to coil right.
I’m just very impatient plus, we curly hair girls know know you can do the same exact routine and get different results each day lol
